Graco Ultra CarGo Booster Car Seat in Wilbur
Keep your baby safe and secure while traveling in the car with the Ultra CarGo from Graco. This youth booster seat is the ideal choice when your little one has outgrown his or her convertible car seat. Easy to install and adjust, the Ultra CarGo has a sturdy, flexible and reliable design that's comfortable for growing children.
Grows With Your Child
With the Ultra CarGo, children older than a year and with a height of 27 to 43 inches, and weight between 20 and 40 pounds can rest comfortably in the seat strapped in with the 5-point harness. When the child is between 35 to 54 inches tall, and weighs between 30 and 100 pounds, the harness may be removed and the Ultra CarGo becomes a belt positioning booster which you can use in combination with your car's belt/lap shoulder system for optimum safety.
Safe, User-Friendly Design
LATCH equipped, the Ultra CarGo provides an extra level of safety in the car. It's also easy to install and adjust, so you won't have to worry about improperly positioning your child. When your child is still using the harness, you'll greatly appreciate the fact that it can be adjusted from the front. This helps simplify getting your child in and out of the seat. In addition, three belt positioners give you the flexibility to adjust your car's lap/shoulder belt to the right height for your growing child.
Comfortable For Your Child
The Ultra CarGo is packed with comfort features your child will love. First, the deep, wide sides and high back provide firm, supportive cushioning for sitting comfort. The soft head pillow lets him or her relax and nap, or simply watch the world go by. There's also a single cup holder for drinks and snacks on the go, and a mesh pocket that's perfect for storing toys or other kid gear.
Easy Care
Busy parents will appreciate the easy-care design of the Ultra CarGo. The car seat pad is removable for machine washing in the delicate cycle without bleach, and it drips dry. The metal and plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap and water and then wiped dry. To clean the buckle, use a damp cloth or sponge, but avoid using lubrication. The harness straps respond best to spot cleaning, and should never be immersed in water.
The Ultra CarGo measures 16.5 x 26.0 x 22.5 inches (WxHxD) and weighs 8.5 pounds.
About Graco
In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. In 1953, Gray left the firm, leaving Cone as sole owner. Cone decided to manufacture his own line of products, but had trouble coming up with ideas. Enter David Saint, an engineer, tinkerer, and stained glass artisan who worked for Graco. Saint, himself a father of nine, was intrigued when an associate told him how his wife would soothe their tired and cranky baby while swinging in a backyard glider swing. Acting on this inspiration, he went to the drawing board and 18 months of hard work later, the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic, was born. Graco sold millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process. Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, their dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products remains, and continues on.
Customer Review: Great car seat
I initially bought this car seat for my husband's vehicle. I did my research and this one is the best. I loved it so much, I gave my carseat to a friend and bought a second one for my vehicle. Cleans easy, very secure, just a good car seat.
Customer Review: Not the best
I bought this because of its potential for long-term use--5-point harness now and booster in another year or two, but after using this seat for about a week, we relegated it to Grandma and Grandpa's car. It's a fine, safe seat, but not comfortable and too low for our average size two-and-a-half year old. He could not see out the window while riding in this seat--very frustrating for an observant toddler. Also, the adjustable straps were not very easy to use--I've been spoiled by the ease of the Evenflo Triumph in this feature. Our eight-month-old is using it now and I won't be quick to give it up!
