Evenflo Triumph Advance LX Convertible Car Seat - Harbortown

Evenflo Triumph Advance LX Convertible Car Seat - Harbortown

Keep your child safe and secure in the car with the Triumph Advance LX, Harbortown from Evenflo. Designed for children two to 35 pounds in rear facing, and 20 to 50 pounds and up to 50 inches tall in forward facing, this convertible car seat allows your child to stay in a 5-point harness over a year longer than traditional car seats with a 40-pound rating, which helps keep your child safer as he grows.
Infinite Slide Harness Adjustment
The Harbortown meets or exceeds all U.S. safety standards, making it a smart, reliable choice. One of its key safety features is the InfiniteSlide harness system which allows you to change the harness height by simply sliding the red tabs up and down. This system also does not require re-threading, saving you time and decreasing the chance of improper positioning. Additionally, the 5-point harness easily tightens with a quick turn on the TensionRight knobs on each side of the seat.
Proper Positioning for a Safe, Comfortable Ride
Proper positioning of your child in the car seat is extremely important, not only for his or her comfort, but also to ensure optimum safety and protection. That's why the Harbortown has a multi-position recline and removable body pillows to surround baby in soft support. Two buckle straps accommodate growing children by being easy to adjust, and the EPP foam liner helps absorb energy to maintain proper positioning in the case of sudden or jarring movement.
There's even a removable, flip-down cup holder to hold your child's favorite drink in a convenient location that they can easily access. This holder also folds out of the way when not in use. The Harbortown also offers perks for parents, including a machine washable pad that's a snap to remove and clean. Easy to install and adjust, the Harbortown features a parent-friendly design that's durable, reliable and, most importantly, safe.

Customer Review: Love this car seat!!!

After combing over reviews for days and looking at car seats in stores....I came to the realization that we would be unable to purchase the Britax model because of price. Then I discovered this car seat is rated as safe if not more than the Britax at a third of the cost. This car seat is very big and I would not buy it to move car to car, it would be to difficult. However the size just makes her more comforable and me feel safer about the seat. The options of moving the shoulder harness without re-threading it and adjusting the tightness with the knob is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I highly reccommend this car seat and would never have another one again.

Customer Review: Great Car Seat!

I love these car seats! I got an earlier model for my daughter two years ago that she is still using and I just ordered two of these for my twins. They are so easy to adjust which is a great plus to the safety of the seat anyway. Yes, they are heavy seats but it's not like I am lugging it like you do infant seats. They are probably a bit bulky for smaller cars. We have a van and two seats fit in the back seat just fine. I would totally recommend these to anyone!

Graco Stylus Travel System in Moracco

Graco Stylus Travel System in Moracco

Graco has been designing and manufacturing baby products for more than 50 years and is one of the most trusted names in baby safety and parent convenience. Their contemporary grey, red, and black Stylus Travel System is a testament to that. The 3-piece system includes all the necessary components for safe and convenient traveling: a full-size stroller, their SnugRide® infant car seat, and its stay-in-car base. Once baby is secure in the carrier, they can easily be moved from the car to the stroller and vice versa, which is especially convenient if they happen to be napping. Meant to be used rear-facing for infants up to 22 pounds and less than 29 inches tall, the carrier includes a 5-point adjustable harness, an ergonomic handle, a 180° rotating canopy, and a removable head support. The adjustable, stay-in-car base allows you to easily place the carrier in your vehicle as a car seat and features Graco’s easy-to-read level indicator for proper recline. The LATCH system makes installation simple and secure, while an EPS energy-absorbing liner provides additional safety for baby in case of a fender bender. Should accidents of another sort occur, the carrier’s seat pad is removable and washable, making clean-ups a cinch.
Graco Stylus Stroller
One-hand folding, a height-adjustable handle, and a great organizer make this stroller convenient for parents.
Once you and baby are ready to switch from the road to the sidewalk, simply attach the carrier onto the included, full-featured Stylus stroller. The height-adjustable handle makes it useable for both mom and dad, and the one-handed gravity fold means you can keep your other hand on baby while maneuvering the stroller in and out of the car. Baby is kept comfortable via the 3-position, flat reclining seat with infant retention and kept safe with the combination 3- or 5-point harness. The full-size canopy allows for shielding inclement weather or bright light and sports a peek-a-boo window so that baby can still see out -- and you can look in. Suspension swivel wheels in front makes tough terrain a little easier, and wheel locks keep the stroller from escaping when stationary. This full-size stroller has a maximum weight limit of 40 pounds.
If you’re the typical family and need your stroller to double as a catchall, the Stylus is a great choice. The parent tray has two deep cup holders for your coffee or baby’s bottle plus a storage compartment for snacks, change, or other small necessities. There is also a pivoting child’s tray with an additional cup holder should they want their juice box closer at hand. Lastly, there’s an extra large storage basket for toys, shopping bags, or all the little things that may get picked up on the day’s excursion.

Customer Review: Looks pretty confortable!

We got it and it looks pretty cosy for the baby. Of course as my wife still is 4 & 1/2 months pregnant it hasnt been proof-tested by the real ownner but has lots of functions and accessories and its easy to fold n doesnt take too much space when stored. The car seat looks great and has multiple child-size fittings ideal for children up to 1 year maybe.

Customer Review: Great Stroller

I just purchased this stroller today and had it together in about 20 min. with my 5 year old son helping. So far, it is a great stroller. I love all the features and can't wait to use it. I love the braking stystem. The basket is plenty big for what I want to use it for.

This is my third and last child and I know that she is going to love going on walks with me.

About Graco
In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. In 1953, Gray left the firm, leaving Cone as sole owner. Cone decided to manufacture his own line of products, but had trouble coming up with ideas. Enter David Saint, an engineer, tinkerer, and stained glass artisan who worked for Graco. Saint, himself a father of nine, was intrigued when an associate told him how his wife would soothe their tired and cranky baby while swinging in a backyard glider swing. Acting on this inspiration, he went to the drawing board and 18 months of hard work later, the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic, was born. Graco sold millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process. Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, their dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products remains, and continues on.

Customer Review: Great car seat

I initially bought this car seat for my husband's vehicle. I did my research and this one is the best. I loved it so much, I gave my carseat to a friend and bought a second one for my vehicle. Cleans easy, very secure, just a good car seat.

Customer Review: Not the best

I bought this because of its potential for long-term use--5-point harness now and booster in another year or two, but after using this seat for about a week, we relegated it to Grandma and Grandpa's car. It's a fine, safe seat, but not comfortable and too low for our average size two-and-a-half year old. He could not see out the window while riding in this seat--very frustrating for an observant toddler. Also, the adjustable straps were not very easy to use--I've been spoiled by the ease of the Evenflo Triumph in this feature. Our eight-month-old is using it now and I won't be quick to give it up!

Loved it so much for the convenience that we bought another one for our friends that are expecting a baby. Makes it so much easier to just snap in place. Feels more secure than just the seat belt

Customer Review: A must have

The SnugRide is a wonderful infant car seat, allowing for securing the child in the seat within the comfort of air-conditioning or indoor heat, depending on the season. It pops right into the base in seconds, allowing for getting the child in the car quickly to avoid prolonged exposure to the weather. If you own a Graco SnugRide and have 2 cars, it also really comes in handy to have an extra base. Not all SnugRides have the same base color, so be sure to note which color the plastic is on the carseat before choosing the color for the extra base unit.

Customer Review: GREAT BUY

i love this carseat and stroller set. The pattern is even better in person and very gender neutral. I've had 3 other strollers and this one is my favorite. It rides like a cadillac and folds down easiley and pretty flat. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the carseat is kinda heavy and with my big boy it's really heavy. But most carseats are heavy so it's not that much worse than any other. Both my sister and sister-in-law have the same set just different patterns so we got my mom a base and she can take any of our babies. Very convenient.

Customer Review: Gift review.

I purchased this for my daughter in law. My husband assembled it in about 15 minutes and it seems very substantial and easy to use.

I was interested to see that they have a diaper bag that matches the travel system.

Customer Review: Like this car seat

I like this Car seat. I love the Graco brand anyway. PLus this patter is cute and will work for a boy or a girl. All the snugrides are not the same and you can tell that from the price. I bought mine in margo which it the last epensive model. It has the pull staps in the back which I thik is easier. My friend got the "deluxe" model in Darius. It is a little bit more expensive but also harder to use and has the strap in between the legs which you have to tuck in. GREAT Product!

Customer Review: I miss the front pull tab tightener

We had a similar model that has passed its expiration date, so replaced it with this one. Overall we like it, but the new rear-access cinch-up straps are a bit difficult to use. The older models had a single pull tab at the front (foot end) to tighten the straps. Otherwise no complaints, the pattern is cute and gender-neutral.

Britax Roundabout Convertible Car Seat Onyx

Britax Roundabout Convertible Car Seat Onyx

The Roundabout from Britax is a sturdy and reliable restraint system that helps protect your child in the car. Designed for children rear facing from five to 35 pounds and forward facing from at least one year old and 20 pounds to 40 pounds, with a standing height of up to 40 inches for both positions, this convenient seat features a versatile, contoured base that fits in almost any car.
Quick and Easy Installation
Easy to install correctly, regardless of whether your vehicle is LATCH compatible or not, the Roundabout takes the guesswork out of installation so you know your child is safely positioned on every trip. The Roundabout features a tangle-free, five-point harness made with rough and tough polyester webbing to resist wear and tear. The push-button LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) connectors help tightly secure your child quickly and easily so you won't have to worry about struggling with endless straps and complicated procedures, and convenient belt holders keep the harness to the side so you can place the child in the seat. Additionally, the harness offers three adjustable shoulder height positions for a snug fit over the shoulders, collarbone, and hips.
Finally, the Roundabout provides built-in lock-off clips that keep the seat tightly in place when using only traditional seatbelts at installation. A simple handle pull allows the car seat base to be easily reclined when rear-facing, and the one-pull harness strap adjuster makes for a quick, easy, and secure fit every time.
HUGS for Optimum Safety and Support
When it comes to safety, the Roundabout truly delivers. First, the patented floating HUGS (Harness Ultra Guard) system exceeds U.S. safety standards by reducing forward head movement as it gently cushions the neck and chest with soft padding--a feature that's particularly important both in the case of an accident and during nap time. Made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and extra thick comfort foam, this system better distributes the webbing loads, reducing head movement and minimizing harness irritation on baby's neck in case of impact. HUGS also reduces the chance of improperly positioning the chest clip.
Versa-Tether for Additional Security
The Roundabout also offers Britax's patented Versa-Tether, an anchor aid that provides additional security in the forward facing position for children weighing more than 50 pounds. The Versa-Tether fastens the top of the car seat to factory-installed automobile anchor points, minimizing the possibility of a head injury in the event of impact.
Weighing only 14 pounds when empty, and measuring 18.25 x 25 x 23.5 inches (WxHxD), the Roundabout is incredibly comfortable. For added convenience, it is certified for air travel. The Roundabout comes with a limited 1-year limited warranty.
The Roundabout is also available in the following colors: Granite, Cowmooflage, New Denim, Tan Swirl, and Jessica.

Customer Review: Car Seat

This product needed a little help to install from an experienced person who has installed a car seat. The item was very appropriate and fit nicely in our car not taking up to much space. Adjusting the shoulder straps was fairly easy.

Customer Review: Great, Safe, and Cute Carseat

I love this carseat! I got this one for my husbands truck and a pink one for my car. Both are safe and cute. The cover is really soft and easy to clean. Will definantly buy same seats for our next baby.

How Do You Find the Best Car Seat to Protect Your Child

by: Gary Hendricks
Choosing a good car seat for your child's protection is a prime consideration for any new parent. To give your child the best chance of escaping injury in the event of a collision, you'll need to a car seat suited to your child's age and weight.
To choose a proper car seat, you'll need to understand that there are three main types of car seats for children. These are: infant car seats, infant / toddler (convertible) car seats, and booster seats.
Infant Car Seats
If you have a newborn baby, or your child is under a year old, he needs to ride in a rear-facing car seat. You'll need to decide on buy a rear-facing infant car seat, or you can buy an infant / toddler car seat (also called a convertible car seat). The difference between the two is that the infant car seat is designed for babies around 20 pounds and under, while the convertible car seat be used facing the rear until your child is a year old and at least 20 pounds, before turning it to face forward. If you purchase an infant car seat, rest assured that the new models have a five-point harness to keep your baby strapped in securely. The disadvantage, of course, is that you'll need to buy a convertible car seat later when your child grows older.
Infant / toddler (convertible)
Car Seats These car seats are larger than infant-only car seats and more expensive. However, they can be used for your child from the newborn stage (when he is less than a year old and under 20 pounds) right up to the toddler stage (when he is at least a year old and at least 20 pounds). It depends on your choice. Some parents choose to use convertible car seats as their primary car seat from day one. Others only switch to an infant/toddler convertible seat when their baby outgrows the infant car seat.
Booster Car Seats
Booster car seats are meant for children age 3 and older who weigh at least 40 pounds. What's the function of these seats? What they do is to boost your child into a position that makes it safe to use the car's existing seat belt system. Booster seats will cost of (they're pretty expensive) but they'll give your grown toddler a sense of 'adulthood' since most of the models are ergonomic, plush and cool.
